We are looking for some extra legs to provide pedal power on an e-cargo bike to deliver a variety of goods from A to B throughout Hamilton city on a weekday basis and are looking for an immediate start. Full time, Monday to Friday. 

Who are we?

You’ll be sharing the load with the dude who was crazy enough to start up this business during a pandemic. His main focus will be sales and ensuring you’re busy, but depending on who you are, there may be an opportunity for you to help drive those sales with added benefits. We are a start up and have only been running for a few months, but we have clients lined up and this role is dependent on being able to take onboard those clients and roll out extra services. 

Who are you? 

You may have an interesting Strava report, but no CV, we’re ok with that. Key requirements for this role are the ability to communicate throughout the day, multitask and have a pleasant demeanour. You are the kind of person who when asked “how are you doing?” your immediate response with a big grin is ‘“I am amazing, tell me about you!”

What else? 

Communication is key, you’ll be operating via a two way radio with other riders and need to be savvy about coordinating your jobs, keeping up with the job management software and assigning jobs to yourself where it makes sense… prioritising them based on the delivery times and locations and knowing when to hand off to another rider. 

In all seriousness you need to be down with being in the outdoors dodging traffic (respectfully) and preferably like bikes, whether you have ridden the length of the country, or have worked as a cycle postie or have been a van courier driver who rides bikes in their spare time… then this is a gig for you. Sales experience is a bonus. You also need to be aware that you don’t melt when it rains and there is no such thing as bad weather, just poor preparation.

Chris started this business because he wanted to ride bikes and he wants to be able to support the alternative transport structure in this city. The more people seen using our bike lanes, the more people will use them. Be an important contributor to change in your local community
