We are looking for a passionate customer service professional that is looking for their next role within Government, utilising their customer service skills supporting both the public and our local environment.

This Government agency is based in the heart of Wellington's CBD, but has a wide regional scope. If you are looking for a long term opportunity that provides various development pathways in the political and environmental sciences space then this could be the opportunity for you!

The Role
In this role, you will be supporting the public, making good use of your customer service skills, taking inquiries, and providing up-to-date information via telephone, email, and social media streams.

The People

We are looking for a candidate with strong customer service experience, that's a natural communicator, team player and resilient when working in a fast-pace environment - as we all know, dealing with the public can be hard at times!

No previous contact center experience necessary, as this supportive team provide indepth and ongoing training. Whether you've been in hospitality, retail or tourism you'll get the training required to get you up to speed, so long as your eager to learn and develop your customer service skills.

If you have studied/are studing a Bachelors Degree in Science, focusing on Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Geology, or even a Commerce degree focusing on Political Science, or Local Governance, then this could also be a great opportunity to start your career in an organisation with various career pathways down the line.
