As criminal defence lawyers we act for people at what is often the lowest point in their lives. We strongly believe that everyone has the right to effective representation. We never judge our clients for the crimes they are charged with.

Our practice engages with defendants facing a range of criminal charges with a focus on particularly serious offences including Murder and serious drug dealing offences.

This role will give you a basis to develop your litigation skills through regular appearances in Courts around the Auckland area, interaction with clients, other lawyers and stakeholders.

Outside the Courtroom the role includes involvement in the preparation of files, research and drafting written submissions for Court hearings.

Our practice is focused exclusively on defence work, representing some of New Zealand's most marginalised people.
