What is the opportunity?
Within Canadian Banking Operations (CBO), the Credit Adjudication Centre (CAC) is the National Service partner supporting personal and business credit applications.
The Credit Support Officer (CSO) is an internal support role intended to monitor and manage incoming applications from all lines of business, as well as receiving inbound calls specific to support on applications for both branch and Mortgage Specialists.
What will you do?
- Provide support to Mortgage specialist and branches across Canada through inbound calls
- Provide quality and efficient service to internal partners in centralized environment that includes tracking and updating credit applications
- Demonstrates commitment to resolution by taking ownership & accountability of caller problems at the first point of contact and by applying appropriate processes, procedures and policies
- Champion routines within the department such as weekly goal setting and process or customer service improvements
- Managing incoming documentation and preparing for any follow-up
- Multi-tasking and working on several bank applications

Must-have
- Proven communication, problem resolution and strong analytical skills
- Excellent telephone manner, IT literacy, and digital knowledge, as well as multi-tasking skills
- Ability to grasp information quickly with a high attention to detail
- Aptitude for a multi-faceted and complex operational environment
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Providing excellent service within established timelines contributing to team goals
- Flexibility to accommodate alternating shifts throughout the week:
Nice-to-have
- Experience in Call Centre environment / Phone experience
- Knowledge of personal banking applications (Linx and CASPER)
