Job Description

We seek outstanding strategic design thinking and a demonstrable expertise in e-commerce and digital product solutions that are tailored for physical retail environments to support the consumer’s omni-channel shopping journey. We look for work that shows attention to detail in every aspect and a strong capacity for both logical and creative thinking; clearly articulating the problem and rationale for design solutions.We seek someone who brings ideas to the table, but also collaborates effectively with producers, copywriters, art directors and developers.You are comfortable with ambiguous requirements, able to handle projects with greater autonomy, lead Experience Designers on focused projects, and present work up to executive leadership. This role requires a proven track record of exceptional design thinking, and a demonstrable expertise in content strategy, system design, information architecture, and marketing, and an ability to synthesize insights from analytics and user testing into the work across various European markets.

Description

Provides XD leadership for Apple’s Marcom Group in LondonPartners with business leads in multiple regional officesManages, develops, encourages, and builds the existing XD teamPresents work to teams and executives within Apple, able to articulate design rationale clearlyWorks as creative partner with Marcom Creative Directors across the business

Additional Requirements

  • Web experience design
  • Able to show track-record of XD leadership and team management
  • Knowledge of the requirements of the creative process, including typical time and resources needed to produce quality work
  • Familiarity with web and app development technologies
  • Proficient in analytics, usability tests, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative feedback.
  • Experience making work across European countries, Turkey, Russia, etc.
  • 15 years + of experience in Information Architecture/User Experience Design
  • Portfolio must show applied knowledge of usability, user design, and content strategy.
  • Portfolio should also show strong capacity for both logical and creative thinking. Work must show attention to detail in every aspect.
  • Language Skills
  • English
  • A good command of other languages that may relate to your role - Turkish, Russian, French or German
