Job Description

Who is Dioscuri?

We are a bespoke marketing and design agency based in East Tamaki.  We produce content for key corporate partners and Government health-based contracts.  We service clients such as Honda Cars New Zealand, Yamaha Motor New Zealand and Hydraulink Fluid Connectors.  In our government work we build and provide content for health and wellbeing campaigns, particularly in the Pasifika and Māori space.  

Who are we looking for?

  • a graduate with an English major or alternately a person who has strong writing skills who enjoys producing useful and meaningful content
  • a person who is willing to take direction and follow instruction
  • someone who can multitask
  • a person who possesses values that align with our organisation’s brand

Your key skills would include

  • the ability to produce copy for different purposes and formats
  • an understanding of digital content creation including social media platforms and online marketing tools
  • strong attention to detail
  • the ability to work autonomously and turn work around fast to meet short deadlines
  • the ability to maintain strong working relationships with our clients and staff – we need our team to like you and our clients to love you!

Bonus skills

The following skills are not necessary however they will help you stand out from the crowd:

  • An understanding and/or speaking of Māori or Pasifika languages and customs
  • An awareness of and respect for mental health and wellness initiatives

What will your position look like?

This is a newly created position with plenty of variety.  We’re looking for someone special and we're prepared to invest a large amount of time in training for the right person.  You will be trained to write content from our clients online digital platforms and online channels through to in-store displays and print advertising.  There will be plenty to do from producing client EDM’s to client surveys through to assisting the Administrative Manager with administration work.  We are a small team so assistance at specific marketing related events and marketing activities with the possibility of travel will be required from time to time. It’s all hands on deck for our team.
