What will you do?

  • Support the management of granting and employee engagement systems and key vendor relationships, including assisting with process documentation

  • Encourage broad system adoption and identify governance and financial risks in the granting system’s process flows, closing the gaps through effective internal controls

  • Assist with the global rollout of key systems such as: the RBC Social Impact Hub (SmartSimple), myCommunity (Benevity) and Business Intelligence Dashboard (Javelin platform)

  • Act as data subject matter expert, playing a key oversight role in the effective development and maintenance of the BI Dashboard by ensuring accurate source data, developing new KPI metrics and enabling a seamless user experience

  • Manage general email inbox for support tickets, providing effective triaging and escalation contact

  • Support the development and maintenance of a global training and development framework for community investment stewards across Canada, US, UK, EU, Caribbean and APAC, as well as the implementation of a new training related system

  • Maintaining community investment related controls such as delegation of authority

  • Assist with the effective financial operations of the team, including full end-to-end processing of invoices, assist with the monthly reconciliation process and the development of system enhancements and tools that improve financial management capabilities

Must-have  

  • 2+ years of experience in Business Analytics or Business Systems Analysis, or equivalent
  • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Business Analysis, Business Technology Management or related field of study
  • Superior communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to understand user profiles and behaviours
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa

Nice-to-have  

  • Knowledge of global granting/employee engagement software
  • Business Analysis certification
  • Certificate in data visualization/data analytics is a plus
  • Organizational awareness (banking or RBC specific)

Job Summary

This role will be critically important to the Corporate Citizenship Operations & Enablement team, working across initiatives that uniquely intersect Systems, Finance operations and Governance operations. This role will also provide support across RBC’s Global Community Investment (CI) operations, working with over 50 CI stewards across key geographies such as Canada, US, UK, Caribbean and APAC
