We are currently looking for a cook for a carehome in Cambridge for casual, ongoing work. Hours are 8am-6pm, 4 days on 4 days off.

The role includes (but is not limited to):

• Planning and implementing all menu programmes and other catering needs
• Ensuring food is prepared as stipulated by the consultant dietician
• Maintaining effective communication with nursing staff to ensure resident’s changing dietary requirements are met
• Hygiene and food safety standards are adhered to
• Ordering food: ensuring cost effective and timely ordering of supplies to meet the requirements of the standardised menu

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

• Friendly and works well within a team
• Able to adapt well to changing environments and work well under pressure
• Clear communicator and follows directions
