If you are motivated and dedicated to providing high quality nutritious and tasty meals for children, then come and join our friendly team at Butterfly Childcare Manly West. This is a part-time position, one day per week, working approximately 7.30am - 2.00pm. This would be a perfect position for someone looking for flexibility in working hours, starting early with time to pick up the kids from school or make plans for the afternoon. 

Having a qualification in Early Childhood Education or be willing to study would be advantageous- we would be able to offer casual shifts across the week as a Relief Educator as an option. 

As our Part-Time Cook, you would be responsible for providing morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack for up to 125 children aged 0 - 5 years.

Skills / qualifications required:

Experience in a Long Day Care Centre desirable but we are able to provide training to the right candidate alongside our current Centre Cook

Kitchen maintenance and cleaning

Assisting in maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies

Assisting in menu planning, and catering to specific dietary needs
