Job Description

About the Role:

In your role as the Contract Administrator you will provide support to the Downer Kaipara water team to achieve their contractual and business objectives. You’ll be based out of our Whangarei office and your primary focus will be around the administration of contract variations, oversight of service activity claims reconciliation, invoicing, job-costing, reporting and forecasting.

Day to day your duties will include:

  • Processing of Purchase Orders, Invoices and Payments
  • Assisting in administrating the delivery of contract services to our Clients
  • Updating of jobs and processing of claims
  • Implement organisation and improvement of data filing and data capture systems
  • Assisting in the production of financial /KPI/monthly reports
  • Job management and data entry
  • Other general office administration as required

You’ll also ensure all contract administration functions are carried out to a consistently high level of service in accordance with company policy.

About you:

  • Computer literate and experience of data entry and use of databases
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management skills
  • The ability to be proactive in meeting business needs
  • Competent in use of Microsoft suite of products Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint
  • Attention to detail essential
