Vendor Management Operations – Team Lead
SUMMARY
Under general supervision (but works independently most of the times) Vendor Management Lead will be responsible for accessing and documenting the risk associated with third party vendors. In addition to that this position will also support the Vendor Manager Program by facilitating, developing and contributing to effective relationships with supplier and vendor
MAJOR DUTIES
- Builds and maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
- Collaborates with BU back office teams to support consistency in implementation of TPRM program components
- Connect with procurement and other assessment partners to allow for Third Party information to be shared with and align to processes to support E@E lifecycle
- Collaborate with assessment partners to integrate risk information (e.g. BC/InfoSec assessments), prioritize and consolidate due diligence activities
- Manages resources to operationalize TPRM program components per Policy/Standard
- Create schedule of activities of BU and Risk teams to complete program requirement such as scorecard Refresh IRQ, Updates Exit Strategies, Refresh Risk Assessment
- Completes periodic vendor assessments based on their risk rating and tracks ongoing monitoring activities.
- Conduct QC sampling of program requirement and activities performed by business (RPQ/IRQ/Scorecard)
- Analyzes inbound vendor risk assessments for completeness and accuracy; ensures appropriate hand-offs to assessment teams for review and closure of risk assessment.
- Manages calendar of activities for ongoing monitoring (business reviews/scorecard development etc.); provides reporting for in-flight risk assessments, open issues and progress of ongoing monitoring which supports an overall view of program health.
- Supports development of vendor scorecards, training and change management materials as directed
- Supports issue management activities which include logging issues, tracking closure and driving escalation as needed
- Performs periodic quality control reviews of required artifacts for compliance to internal policies.
- Ability to lead by example by setting clear expectations and leading the team in the right direction
- Drive Change through prioritizing and alignment of resources
- Strong problem-solving ability to work with internal and external counterparts to resolve discrepancies in a timely and effective manner
- Oversee TPRM technology and tools
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Advanced database management and maintenance skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills with the ability to generate complex reports on a regular and ad hoc basis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with well-developed interpersonal skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change in a high demand environment
- Ability to drive service deliveries, efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as data analytic tools including Power BI
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- A College/University degree in Supply Chain, Finance or Risk and/or other appropriate academic major is preferred, or the equivalent number of years of experience is required.
- A minimum 5-7 years of directly related job experience is required; experience with a public accounting firm and/or a supplier management/vendor management environment is preferred.
