The opportunity
We are looking for a Consultant to join our Transaction Management team in Sydney.
The Transaction Management team works together with clients to deliver procurement services and procurement advice on infrastructure projects and programs across a number of sectors.
By joining our team, you’ll have the opportunity to:
work with clients from all levels of government and within the private sector on projects that serve our communities and have meaningful impacts on our society;
gain exposure to industries such as transport, justice, health, waste, renewable energy and water across a variety of contract delivery models; and
work with a highly experienced Transaction Management team, within a national practice.
The Transaction Management team is made up of individuals with diverse experience across public sector procurement, infrastructure advisory, bid management, construction and contract management. We have worked on some of Australia’s largest and most interesting infrastructure projects.
Due to our ongoing strong pipeline of work, we are continuing to grow our team and strive to maintain our diversity of skills and experience to deliver outcomes for our clients and communities.
Your key responsibilities
Liaise with government and corporate clients to support on strategic and complex procurements.
Work in a high-performing team to provide holistic procurement advice and develop documentation and materials, across all stages of the infrastructure lifecycle.
Support business development opportunities, including building relationships and supporting the development of proposals and pitches.
Develop high quality written and presentation materials.
Actively participate in development and training activities.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role direct experience in Transaction Management is not required however we are looking for candidates with relevant work experience and/or the following skills and attributes:
An ability to consistently produce work of high quality which focuses on client needs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated critical thinking and an ability to work directly with clients and effectively in project teams.
A commitment to a strong positive team culture and enthusiasm for working in a flexible and diverse team environment.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
Ideally, you’ll also have
An appreciation of the market, in particular the public and/or private sector in the transport, justice, waste, health and/or water industries.
Core values of integrity and professionalism.
A willingness to travel domestically when required to ensure effective delivery of clients services (subject to COVID restrictions in place at any given time).
