We are looking for Consultants, Senior Consultants and Managers with risk management experience to be a part of the Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) team in our Sydney office.
As part of our FSRM team, you’ll focus on client opportunities where your expertise can make a substantial impact.Â

Key responsibilities
- Relevant experience in Risk Analytics within Financial Services / Banking / FinTechÂ
- Ability to understand requirements across various regulatory Programs including the interpretation of Prudential and reporting requirements across the delivery life cycle
- Broad experience in risk analytics and reporting including the ability to work with large datasetsÂ
- Support delivery across a range of regulatory transformation programs, leading projects to agreed standards and timescales
- Draw insights and analytics from data to inform stakeholders about changes from regulatory requirements
- Ability to design and implement data management capabilities to support data risk managementÂ
- Lead / support the wider team with various business development initiatives to support the transformation of risk functions.Â

- Soft skills:Â Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, client engagement and presentation. Maintain long term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
- Leadership skills:Â Manage conflicting priorities, track project timelines/budget and motivates teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.Â
- Sector experience:Â Experience with Australian and/or international prudential supervision, regulatory reporting, regulatory technology (RegTech), capital management, enterprise risk and risk data management.
- Technical Skills:Â Working knowledge of coding languages desirable (e.g. SAS, Python, SQL, Â VBA etc.). Advanced use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Qualifications: Any suitable combination of education, training or experience. Examples include: Bachelor’s degree in: Commerce, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Technology, Engineering, Actuarial, Finance, Accounting or STEM training.Â
Ideally, you’ll also have any of the followingÂ
- BCBS 239 or CPG 235 experience.Â
- Basel III or Credit Risk Analytics experience.
- Prudential reporting implementation experience.
- Risk data science and analytics, risk data management, regulatory reporting and business requirements experience.Â
- Prior local and/or international consulting or FinTech experience.Â
- Prior local and/or international regulatory experience (e.g. APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, PRA, FCA, EBA, ESA, FINRA, HKMA, MAS etc.).
