Your new role
In this role, you will focus on managing the entire recruitment process, from start to finish and work with job seekers and clients to ensure successful recruitment for all parties involved. As you are someone who loves building new relationships, you will enjoy the challenge of going out to market to continuously grow your client portfolio for purposes of generating new business. Your role will involve identifying business development opportunities, both reactive and proactive and to demonstrate excellent relationship building, sales and service skills to convert these newly established relationships to longstanding partnerships.
You will call on your resilience, creativity and relationship building skills, to identify and utilise broad range of candidate attraction strategies to find and engage with sought after job seekers throughout New Zealand and partner with and support them throughout their job search. As a consultant with Hays, you will operate within a business unit, focussing on a specific recruitment topic, whilst being supported by your wider team. Due to continuous growth, we have the capacity to support several Recruiters to join our business in a Senior role, ideally an individual who is wanting to take a step towards team management and become more involved in the training and development of your wider business unit.

As we have opportunities for Consultants across Associate to Senior Consultant level, we are opening applications to either experienced recruiters (12 months plus) or experienced sales professionals (3 years plus) seeking to pivot their experience into the recruitment sector, Successful candidates will display the following skills and attributes:

We offer competitive packages ranging from $55,000 pa to $80,000 dependent on experience, plus performance related pay potential on average of $15,000 pa. This is for full time employment based on a 40-hour work week.
