The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of Clough, Salini-Impregilo and Lane and has been selected to design and construct Snowy 2.0. This project is based within the Snowy Mountains in NSW, and will deliver one of the largest pumped hydro schemes in the world.

The Role

You will work within a diverse and multidisciplinary project team delivering this major renewable energy infrastructure project. Our scope includes civil surface works including earthworks and roads construction, temporary and permanent structural works, marine and significant tunnelling works. Working closely with our Engineers on site you will:

• Understand project Safety requirements and ensure they are applied on-site through the use of pre-starts and toolbox meetings, site safety walks and inspections and effective monitoring plant and equipment use.
• Supervise and co-ordinate direct labour and subcontractors to ensure work is conducted to program and to necessary quality standards.
• Organise and supervise the use of materials, plant and equipment.
• Review specifications and designs to assist in planning and scheduling works on-site and report potential risks with construction activities.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and community management plans.

On-site roles will be based within the Snowy region working on a 14:7 FIFO roster from your capital city or DIDO for locally based applicants.

 Your Skills & Experience

Ideally you will have significant experience working as a Construction Supervisor on major civil infrastructure or resources projects along with specific experience in:

• Earthworks, roads and/or tunnelling projects.
• Working with Tier 1 organisations with a strong safety culture and practices.
• Working closely with engineers on-site to plan and schedule construction activities and devise innovative solutions to potential issues.
