The opportunity:

We have a fantastic permanent part-time opportunity to work 25 hours per week supporting our Compounding Pharmacy Team.

  

You will join our vibrant compounding team based on Bridge Road, servicing the Epworth Hospital in Richmond. This team produces a vast range of pharmaceutical products, including chemotherapy, veterinary medications, eye drops and specialty IVF products. We receive a vast number of orders from Epworth Richmond and other external sites and as Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in processing and dispatching these orders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls to provide excellent customer service to customers, hospital staff and team members from our pharmacies
  • Print labels and batch documents in preparation for manufacturing
  • Ensuring completion of documentation
  • Organise, manage and book couriers
  • Ensure that sufficient stock is maintained while being sourced, labelled and stored appropriately
  • Assist with any other ad-hoc pharmacy administration

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual eager to join a fast-paced environment. With previous experience working in pharmacy as a preference, you will have excellent customer service and communication skills. You will also have the ability to collaborate with other team members, multitask, and work across different software programs to successfully achieve the best possible outcome for patients.
