We currently have roles within Spectrum Care covering early mornings, after school times and evenings, weekend days and sleepover shifts.
We're looking for team members to help children and teenagers with disabilities to feel safe and have fun while staying at our respite centre in Lower and Upper Hutt. You will need to know how to liven things up, and calm things down, to notice how children are feeling, and to provide them with guidance, comfort or support as needed. You will need to be vigilant, warm, and creative.
Additionally, as the children have a vast range of communication styles, an ability or interest in learning to find effective ways to communicate is very much preferred.
