Fantastic opportunity to provide economic research, policy, analytical advice and administration to Andrew Bayly, MP.
You will have a tertiary qualification in Commerce majoring on Economics, Finance and/or Accounting with relevant experience and a strong technical foundation in macroeconomics. Equally, if you are a recent graduate with the ability to learn and grow quickly, we want to hear from you. You'll be a team player who will enjoy collaborating with others and be well-known for your resilient and adaptable nature.
This role is a varied and multifaceted one, where on any given day your responsibilities may include the following:
You will have an organised and methodical approach to research and compiling information on a variety of subjects as well as the ability to analyse data and distil information. You will also have experience developing targeted content across a variety of social media channels to engage the local community, maintaining networks both inside and outside Parliament for your MP as well as looking for opportunities for your MP engage on social media.
As an employee of Parliamentary Service you will be impartial in your role. Awareness of the political landscape may be beneficial in supporting your MP. You'll appreciate the sometimes unpredictable nature of this environment and instead of letting it faze you, you'll thrive on it.

This is an events based, fixed-term role linked to the MP, working 40 hours per week. Some flexibility in hours may be required.
The appointing salary band for this role is $63,743.00 to $79,679.00 per annum. Appointments will be based on your skills and experience.
