Responsibilities

The purpose of this role:

 The Cloud Solution Architect is responsible for owning the overall technical relationship between the customer and Microsoft. They are a trusted advisor to the customer who guide their adoption of SAP on Azure in the most effective way. By connecting customer needs with the appropriate Azure services on SAP, and architecting for optimised consumption, CSAs produce sustainable outcomes for our customers and deliver success on their cloud journey. 

This Cloud Solution Architect role is perfect for someone who has a background in being hands on with technology, while also having consulting and customer leadership.

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect specialising in SAP on Azure delivery to join our team in Australia and New Zealand. The role offers the opportunity to work on and influence complex and interesting SAP on Azure deployments from inception through delivery.  As well as infrastructure concerns you will be comfortable dealing with systems and data integrations for SAP in cloud.

There will be many opportunities for you to learn and grow into this role and Microsoft. However, to be able to best deliver on the purpose of this role, these are the core skills and experiences you should have on day one: 

• Cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, database migrations, and technology management. 
  
• Complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation and/or support of highly distributed applications. 
• Experience in building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or highly strategic accounts. 

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies

• • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
  • OR equivalent experience.
