Your key responsibilities:

• Establishment of a cloud-native data and analytics platform to support onboarding of new use cases and migration of existing use cases. 

• Management of support for multiple teams and projects in delivery and Production operations for a large federal government program of work. 

• Leading a multi-disciplinary team in the strategy, planning, management, and continuous improvement of Environment Management and DevOps activities, including: 

• Setup and support of infrastructure and integrations for test environments and production, including on-prem and cloud 

• Setup and support of DevOps CI/CD pipelines 

• IT change and release management 

• Resourcing and people management of the team 

• Contributing to the ongoing development of the Digital and Emerging Technologies practice, including mentorship and coaching to support the professional growth of more junior consultants  

Skills and attributes for success 
 
To qualify for the role you must have:   

• 10+ years’ experience in consulting and operations management 

• Experience working in Agile project delivery including leading people, teams and interacting with customers and stakeholders fundamental to the delivery of an engagement  

• The ability to build strong and credible relationships with business and technical stakeholders at all levels of the business 

• Experience in environment management, system integration, CI/CD deployment, cloud administration (IaaS and PaaS), on-prem server administration, IT change and release management 

• A solid background of working with large scale enterprise systems, delivery, organisations structure across multiple business lines and governance 

You’ll also have a working knowledge of several of the following concepts:   

• Local area and cloud networking 

• Cloud architecture and technologies – AWS preferred 

• Web architectures and technologies – APIs, HTTP, microservices 

• Databases – both relational and noSQL 

• Big data and analytics platforms 

• Enterprise architecture 

• Agile/Scrum - SAFe preferred
