What you'll do: Investigate hardware agnostic, cloud-native solutions for real-time and performance demanding applications

Devise an architecture for the cloud-native edge-cloud platform

Develop a POC to demonstrate the proposed architecture

Provide performance figures in terms of required resources to meet applications performance based on POC experiments

Support Product Management in defining Parallel Wireless roadmap towards cloud-native

What you must have: Five or more years of telecommunications and Information Systems experience

Experience with hardware deployment ( ipxe, Redfish, UEFI)

Experience with Linux-based platforms

Strong Knowledge of IP network services and protocols

Architectural knowledge and hands-on proficiency and experience designing, deploying and managing Kubernetes - an advantage

Experience with one or more automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform - advantage

Experience with containerization packaging, tooling, and DevOps methodologies - advantage

Experience in 3G/4G and 5G Radio network architecture and ecosystem - advantage

Knowledgeable with Radio Access Network (RAN) design and RAN virtualization

Knowledgeable with RAN technologies and requirements (vRAN, Small Cells, MIMO, Timing and Sync - PTP, SyncE) - advantage

Knowledgeable with real-time OS and acceleration products and technologies

Familiar with O-RAN specifications and O-RAN Components is preferred

Familiar with TIP/OpenRAN projects and/or ONF SD-RAN is preferred.

Proven consultative selling skills including good communication and presentation skills

Ability to work self-sufficiently within a globally distributed team of experts

Ability to communicate effectively across various business units to drive forward positive outcomes in technical projects, PoCs, and pilots

Education: B.Sc in computer science or electrical engineering

M.Sc/Ph.D. computer science or electrical engineering - advantage
