 What you’ll be doing

We’re looking for innovative Cloud Architects, to join our growing EY Oceania Cloud practice and lead our cloud capability across the country. You will be part of the Digital & Emerging Technology team and will be responsible for providing technical leadership throughout all phases of the Cloud delivery life cycle as EY initiate a transformation of our client’s technology. You will also be involved in evolving EY’s thought leadership in the Cloud frameworks, methodologies and technologies and help scale these into the Asia-Pacific region.  

Responsibilities

• Contribute to go to market proposals for Cloud implementations
• Contribute to target state Solution Architecture and product roadmaps 
• Continuous development of EY intellectual property including solution documentation, assets and artefacts 
• Development of repeatable processes, methods and solutions to enable rapid deployment of products
• Hands-on implementation of cloud products and services
   

To qualify for the role, you must have: 
 

• 5 - 7 Years of experience as a Cloud Engineer/Architect 
• Hands-on experience with migration from Data Centre to Public Cloud or Hybrid Cloud 
• Infrastructure solutions covering Wintel, Hybrid Cloud, Security, VMware, Operating Systems, Network, and Identity 
• In-depth understanding of application stacks (LAMP, client/server, microservices, containerization, distributed architectures)
• In-depth experience of WAN/ LAN technologies in the context of Cloud platforms 
• Experience in an Enterprise Architecture
