EY DnA is the data and advanced analytics capability within EY Asia-Pacific, with over 500 specialist employees working across multiple industry sectors.

We implement information-driven strategies and systems that help grow, optimize and protect client organizations.

We go beyond strategy and provide end to end implementation of real-life data environments and have some of the best architects, project managers, business analysts, data scientists, big data engineers, developers and consultants in the region.

We are seeking Cloud Architects to join our EY Data and Analytics team in our Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane offices. This role is offered on a flexible, full-time basis.

As a Cloud Architect you will be responsible for :

Providing technical leadership throughout all phases of the Cloud delivery life cycle as EY initiate a transformation of our client’s technology. You will also be involved in evolving EY’s thought leadership in the Cloud frameworks, methodologies and technologies and help scale these into the Asia-Pacific region. 

Contribute to go to market proposals for Cloud implementations

Contribute to target state Solution Architecture and product roadmaps 

Continuous development of EY intellectual property including solution documentation, assets and artefacts 

Development of repeatable processes, methods and solutions to enable rapid deployment of products

Hands-on implementation of cloud products and services

To qualify for the role, you must have

Technical/architecture experience in software development project preferably in a large enterprise scale Data and Analytics platform

Preferable to have experience in Cloud environment (AWS)

Ability to understand complex solution design and technical architecture and prepare detailed technical designs in collaboration with the developers

Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with mid-senior level stakeholders

Strong analytical skill to break down a solution into parts and understand the solution holistically

Attention to detail to pick up gaps and ability to solve problems by engaging the correct stakeholders

Agile/Scrum/Scaled Agile experience will be a big advantage

Ideally, you’ll also have

Experience with Infrastructure as Code and developing DevSecOps pipelines

AWS Certified Professional: Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer
