We are growing our Data & Analytics team in FSO and now is an exciting time to join us on this journey. We are looking for Cloud Architects with financial services experience, who are passionate about technology & data, to join our diverse team. Whether you are a Consultant at the start of your career through to Manager looking for your next role across the whole breadth and depth of Data & Analytics, we would love to talk to you.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Oversee the implementation of the build framework for cloud implementation across all scrum teams and releases.
  • Manage the work of the development teams to the agreed schedule
  • Manage issues, risks and dependencies of the build team in conjunction with project managers and design managers
  • Implement the build frameworks and accelerators for the developers in cloud
  • Align build delivery across all scrum teams to schedules of environment usage, set up and deployment along with the Release schedule
  • Facilitate the management of developer environments, tools and develop access requirements and permissions
  • Responsible for delivery of all documentation deliverables in line with client technical and security standards
  • Facilitates the resolution of technical issue resolution
  • Co-ordinates test and production deployments with Change Management, Environments team into relevant environments for each release test phase
  • Raise required production release documentation and other governance documents
  • Support the development and update of build project schedules and identifies resource requirements
  • Responsible for status tracking of all deliverables and reporting on progress
  • Perform stakeholder management
  • Manage compliance with DevOps processes

 

Skills and attributes for success
 

  • Experience in implementing data and analytics platforms
  • Deep technical experience in implementing Cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS & Cloudera
  • Experience in technical delivery planning, estimations and resource requirements
  • Experience setting up frameworks and standards
  • Proven experience in managing compliance with security and development standards
  • Solid experience in DevOps
  • Strong experience in developing technical documentation and preparing documentation for governance forums e.g. change approval boards etc.
  • Solid experience in facilitating environment planning, deployment and management for non-production environments
  • Experience working in Financial Services
