One of New Zealand’s leading regional District Health Boards is seeking motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologists to join their Mental Health and Addictions Service.

The Manawatu Community Mental Health Service provides assessment and treatment within a recovery framework to those experiencing moderate to serious mental health and or addiction difficulties.

Key tasks for this position will include:

• Undertaking psychological assessments and interventions with adults experiencing moderate to serious mental health and or addiction needs in the community
• Supporting transition to community-based care.

To apply, you will need:

• A recognised qualification
• To be registered, or eligible for registration, with the New Zealand Psychologist Board (Clinical Psychology Scope of Practice)
• Relevant experience in the mental health field
• Excellent communication skills
• Enthusiasm and a willingness to run groups and co-work extensively in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
