First and foremost we are looking for the right person. A pharmacist that is willing to learn and be a valued member of the wider well-oiled, friendly and supportive health team that makes up Wairau Hospital.
We welcome applications from both new and experienced colleagues. Hospital experience, while preferred, is not a requirement. Wairau Hospital Pharmacy allows pharmacists to gain broad experience in all facets of hospital pharmacy. You will quickly become a great all-rounder and ready for any situation. Once settled in and confident, the on-call roster allows for extra income and responsibility.
For the health and safety of staff and patients all NMH staff are required to be vaccinated in accordance with the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021.
