Client Communications Coordinator

Guide Dogs Victoria has a full time, permanent opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Marketing and Communications Centre of Excellence Team in the position of Client Communications Coordinator. 

The Client Communications Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing development and optimisation of the Community Hub across Guide Dogs NSW/ACT and Guide Dogs Victoria. Leveraging digital solutions, user data and content to grow and optimise the Hub, and achieve the strategic goals mandated by the Guide Dogs Australia Board, including acquisition and retention of Clients, and growth and engagement within the Community Hub.

In this role you will be responsible to: 

  • Collaborate with the national Community Hub team to help plan and develop content including articles, videos, factsheets/downloadable resources and audio resources;
  • Content management across the Community Hub inclusive of planning, managing a content calendar in line with the Content Strategy, managing content library, uploading articles, ensuring all content is accessible etc.;
  • Build and maintain a strong, safe online support community with considerable peer-to-peer elements and engagement;
  • Build relationships with sector, community and partner organisations to source and co-promote content and links to resources;
  • Work directly with Client Services to develop personas, segments and lifecycle engagement journeys and corresponding strategies for clients/stakeholders as required; and
  • Maintain good admin and data management practices, inclusive of risk register maintenance, managing inbox and member feedback, resolving queries, managing communication preferences, and regular reporting and analysing of data to maximise client engagement.

The successful candidate will have: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Communications or Marketing;
  • Demonstrated experience in a comparable role, ideally with prior experience in coordinating an online community, and knowledge of marketing automation systems;
  • Strong competence in content planning, briefing, administration and reviewing;
  • Developed editorial, analytical and reporting skillset;
  • A strong client and customer focus and a commitment to person centred service practices;
  • A commitment to live the values and behaviours of Guide Dogs Victoria; and
  • A strong alignment with the vision of Guide Dogs Victoria in delivering independence to people who are blind or have low vision.
