We are Assetlink, a facilities services provider that specialises in commercial and retail cleaning around New Zealand. Currently we have a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Services Manager to lead our team at Centre City Shopping Centre in New Plymouth. 

This is a full time role Monday through to Friday.  The team is motivated and take pride in their work so we are seeking someone exceptional to lead from the front and continue to deliver great results for our client. Remuneration is negotiable for the right person and we offer a sign on bonus of $1000 (conditions apply).

 Requirements for the role are:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
• Impeccable grooming and presentation
• Previous proven experience working within a similar role
• You are a team leader, hands-on operator with the ability to anticipate the needs of your team, exceeding satisfaction levels
• Ensure high levels of cleaning standards are met and exceed contract requirements.
• Participate as an active member of the cleaning services team and lead/manage these personnel.
• Become a trusted partner and subject matter expert (SME) for your area of responsibility.
• Attend and manage various cleaning inspection forums with client and/or stakeholder groups.
• Identify opportunities to provide innovation and value-add for the client to assist with current and future needs.
• Oversees all financial & budget services, including ordering supplies, scheduling labour, and implementing cost savings measures.
• Keep abreast of developments in cleaning equipment and materials that could improve the overall standards and service.
• Undertake team member training and ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
• Be well presented, proactive and able to work well on your own
• Good knowledge of and a commitment to safe working practices
• Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions
• Be physically fit to carry out moderate to heavy duties
• Be able to pass Ministry of Justice checks
