Key Accountabilities
To fulfil this role, there is a requirement to have strong Citrix experience in working in a multi-vendors environment. This is to give assurances that services are being delivered effectively in order to safeguard the business and improve the stability and delivery of this core service.
- Accountable for assigned Citrix and SFTP infrastructure through daily operational activities
- Ensure strong Governance with vendor service delivery team and key customer partners
- Effectively calling out issues where necessary to Infrastructure Operations / Technology Services leadership to ensure that quality standards are delivered
- Acting as a technical SME on Assigned Infrastructure for the Bank and sharing that expertise as the need arises within the Infrastructure Operations Team.
- Driving continual improvement across both Bank and vendor teams to ensure ongoing optimisation of performance of services
- Maintain & monitor standards, controls, processes and solutions, to minimise business and IT risk
- Drive through identified Risks to closure including reporting of progress against each Risk assigned within your area of responsibility
- Ensure full compliance with all Group, Legal and Regulatory requirements and standards
- Full involvement during Internal / External Audit cycle that are carried out periodically relating to Infrastructure
- Support remediation of Audit Actions working closely with Internal teams as the need arises.

Relevant third level qualification with additional professional certification
Crucial Skills / Experience
- Manage our vendors/suppliers for the day-to-day health, security, and performance of all servers and systems for Citrix and SFTP
- Significant experience of all aspects of Citrix capabilities
- Ensure our vendors/suppliers optimise server performance, clustering and storage to scale with growth of the infrastructure environment
- Ensure and assist where required in troubleshooting an enterprise level infrastructure, solving business impacting issues and incidents
- Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and to improve systems
- Communicate clearly with business users and project managers
- Solid understanding of working in a multi-vendor managed service environment
- Demonstrable experience of IT service management and service delivery
- Demonstrable experience in discussing technical issues with people at all levels (Customers, Vendors, Service & Business Partners and other Technology Services teams)
- Experience in taking care of multiple outsource vendors
- Strong customer focused background and commercial awareness
- Process improvement experience with a focus on continued streamlining of processes
- Demonstrable ability to present service improvement initiatives to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable Skills / Experience
- Strong virtualisation skills (VMware, Hyper V, Citrix) plus solid grasp of Windows Servers
- Knowledge of SAN Storage solutions
- Excellent oral, written, verbal and technical/business communications skills
- Solid grasp of networking concepts: DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Routing, VLAN, PXE, TFTP
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as ELK, vROPS, ServiceNow
- CMDB management
