Our Client INZ GROUP PTY LTD is looking to employ CHEFS & COOKS in multiple positions for the venue Zig Zag Motel - Frankie’s Restaurant & Bar. The positions will be on a full-time basis with a salary ranging from 55-70K AUD per annum plus superannuation which will be negotiable to the right candidate. You will be required to do the following duties: Day to day operation of a busy kitchen, including delegating staff, stock rotation and relevant paperwork. Good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (WHS) and HACCP. Prepare and cook foods of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions. Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure the timely delivery of services. Estimate amounts and costs of required supplies, such as food and ingredients. Collaborate with other personnel to plan and develop recipes and menus, taking into account such factors as seasonal availability of ingredients and the likely number of customers. Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff. Setting up, cleaning, and organizing workstations Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift Cooking order according to food health and safety standards Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed Sanitizing and cleaning workstations and utensils To be considered for this role you should: Be willing to relocate if you are interstate or in other cities. Be available on both days at weekends and be able to work split shifts. Have a passion for food and enjoy working in a busy fast-paced bistro. Have at least 3 years of work experience as a Cook/Chef. Ability to work in a team. Very good communication skills. Excellent physical condition and stamina.
