Full-time Chef Required
Drip Expresso Bar is looking for a full-time chef to join our team.
Successful applicants are expected to assist the company’s business revenue growth through the delivery of modern cuisines.
Duties will include:
- planning menus to reflect the customers preference and seasonal changed in accordance with the feature of Drip Expresso Bar;
- discussing food preparation issues with the management, and kitchen and waiting staff;
- preparing and cooking food to demonstrate cooking techniques to other kitchen staff;
- monitoring and controlling quality of dishes during all the stages of preparation, cooking and presentation;
- providing advice to kitchen staff on cooking procedures and skills;
- freezing and preserving foods by following specific regulations and procedures to ensure all the food is safe and hygienic to consume;
- placing orders for supplies with a good estimate of food and labour cost;
- participating in the selection of kitchen staff and responsible for the training in the kitchen; and
- explaining, following and implementing hygiene regulations to ensure a hygienic, secure and healthy environment in the kitchen
Salary: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
Skills and Experience:
- Diploma or above qualification in hospitality industry
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
