RAMSONS EXIM PTY LTD T/As Tusta is looking for a full time chef with minimum 3 years of experience. The candidate will be working at  Lesmurdie.WA 6076. The annual salary is between $52,000 to $58,000.

The duties will be not limited to : 

 

  • Planning Menus
  • Short order cooking, maintaining portion control, minimizes waste.
  • Ordering of stock and other supplies to ensure efficient operation and maintain an inventory of food and supplies
  • Check the quality and quantity of received products.
  • Inspect supplies, equipment and work areas to ensure conformance to establishment standards.
  • Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations and Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality.
  • Menu planning, menu development and stocktaking and ensure the quality of meals
  • Check the freshness of food and ingredients
  • Create decorative food displays
  • Stock rotation, following FIFO (rotations).
  • Following HACCAP control, and maintaining OH&S standards
  • Monitor sanitation practices and follow kitchen safety standards
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers
  • Develop recipes and determine how to present dishes
  • Hire, train, and supervise cooks and other food preparation workers and demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
  • Staff management, customer services and till operations.
  • Provide training to new staff members.
  • Prepare and cook food of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions/caterings.
  • Regulate temperature of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment’s.
  • Ensuring food quality and taste is of the highest standard.
  • Managing inventory of stock and ordering raw materials.
  • Controlling budgets and minimizing wastage.
  • Maintaining health and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Organizing duty roster of the staff.
  • Cook various vegetables, chicken, meats and seafood’s.
