POSITION: Chef, Full Time
Salary Range $54,000 - $60,000 p.a. plus superannuation
Tesoro Gastronomia Pty Ltd in Balwyn North VIC, 3104 is looking for a full-time Chef.

Main Duties
• Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
• Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
• Estimate food requirements and food/labour costs
• Monitor and eliminate food wastage
• Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
• Recruit and manage kitchen staff
• Rectify arising problems or complaints
• Give prepared plates the “final touch”
• Check and Pass plates by other team members
• Perform administrative duties
• Manage and order stocks
• To maintain a clean, tidy kitchen and stock room at all times
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Requirements
At least a relevant Diploma qualification plus two years of full-time post qualification
experience in the relevant position; OR at least 3 years of experience as a Chef.
