Job Description
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Administer change management requirements for various applications. Working with developers, project managers and product owners, the candidate will be an integral part to each application. ServiceNow will be used as the platform to track development and production changes. As part of a DevOps team, the candidate will investigate deployment, build and environments tickets through Jira. they will also be responsible for maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Create change records in ServiceNow
Develop implementation plans for select applications
Investigate issues with deployment, build and environment queues
Manage program distribution request queue for deployment activities
Complete Urban Code Deployment requests
Execute SQL scripts to update application configurations
Ensure all environments and Urban Code Deploy agents are operational
Collaborate in a diverse agile environment, sharing information, knowledge, and ideas with cross functional teams and partners
Provide on-call after hours support to assist business partners in troubleshooting deployments and pipelines
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent practical experience
Ability to pick up new tools, software, languages, and concepts quickly
Markup/Scripting languages like HTML, Python, Groovy, Powershell, Typescript and Unix
Great communication and organizational skills to help coordinate between different teams
Multitask between various objectives
NICE-TO-HAVE:
Experience creating change records in ServiceNow
Understanding of CI/CD applications like Jenkins
Experience with monitoring/alerting tools (Dynatrace, Splunk)
Practical knowledge of Urban Code Deploy
