Ko tā mātou mahi -  Our Role 

We are currently recruiting for a change management professional to join our Wellington based team. As a Change and Engagement Specialist, you will work within a skilled team of professionals and you will be an important member of the Change and Engagement team, responsible for working primarily with project teams to advice on best practice, delivering people-centric change initiatives that encompass a wide range of change. Examples include office moves, technology developments, upgrades, and policy implementation.

You will need to be adept at influencing both leaders and team members as you guide them through change. This includes having the courageous conversations that are needed, whilst also being the ultimate diplomat, supporting change through a variety of innovative toolsets.

Partnering with the business, you will agree on strategies, methodologies and tools to maximise desired objectives while always considering the most efficient ways of reaching key milestones.

To be successful in this role you will be comfortable working advocating for change, in fact you will thrive on it!  We want to help prepare our people to operate differently in line with our organisational strategy.

Ngā pÅ«manawatanga Åu - What you will bring 

  • Change management certification or designation desired: Prosci certification preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of applying change management principles methodology and tools at both project and programme level
  • Specialist skills knowledge and experience within a complex organisation of how people go through change and the change process
  • Significant experience in a change management and engagement role in a complex environment
  • Qualified or recent experience with change management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Influencing skills that have proven to inspire individuals to adopt change with minimal resistance
