We are seeking a casual Dental Assistant to join the Eastern Team

About the role:

The position involves working in fixed and mobile dental units in Matamata and possibly Cambridge, Putaruru, Tokoroa and surrounding areas. You will provide assistance with dental care to pre-school and school age children. Trainings and service needs are sometimes required within Hamilton.

Dental assistants support and assist oral health and dental therapists in all aspects of care and clinic administration.   This casual position is Monday-Friday with possibly some Saturday morning work available in the future.

For this role you must have:

• A full current driver’s licence.
• The ability to prioritise effectively
• Good communication and leadership competency
• Computer skills
• Conscientious and reliable

The position would ideally suit someone who has had dental assistant experience or has a work history in office administration, working with children, customer service or health care.
