We currently have vacancies for casual collectors undertaking COVID collections at Residential Aged Care Facilities. The primary focus of these roles is the collection of COVID samples from patients in accordance with our procedures while providing the patient with exceptional, professional customer service. The role requires the accurate collection, labelling and processing of specimens for COVID testing, strict adherence to infection control procedures, the correct use of personal protective equipment and the ability to communicate effectively with people presenting for testing.

The successful applicant must:

• Be fully vaccinated for COVID including booster if eligible
• Be available to undergo paid training (dates to be advised)
• Be available to work a minimum of 3 full shifts per week from 8am – 6pm between Monday – Sunday and on Public Holidays
• Be available to start work within the next two weeks
• Be prepared to wear full PPE at all times
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on customer service
• Demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised and within a small team with a high degree of accuracy and precision
• Be vaccinated or prepared to be vaccinated for influenza
• Hold a current unrestricted WA drivers Licence and have access to a vehicle
• Hold a current National Police Clearance
• Have the right to work in Australia

• Previous experience working in Aged or Disability Care, or as a Pathology Collector, or in the medical industry
• A current first aid certificate
