Start your journey with Northland DHB - right now we are looking for a highly experienced and fully qualified Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiographer to join our Echo Service.

Northland DHB is committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and holds stewardship for equitable health outcomes for Māori as Tāngata Whenua as the highest priority.

You will have a New Zealand recognised academic undergraduate qualification.  In addition, you will ideally hold a post-graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasonography - recognised and/or accredited by the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB) or the Australian Sonography Accreditation Registry (ASAR).

You will have at least 3 years continuous clinical experience in the field of Cardiac Sonography.

Experience in assisting with Stress Echoes, Transoesophageal Echoes and Paediatric scanning is valued.

A willingness to travel to our peripheral hospitals is essential as well as a commitment to being a team player.
