This exciting role will involve participation in the establishment of an interventional cardiology service and a dedicated cardiac catheterisation facility.

The Role

The Clinical Cardiac Physiologist role consists of a service to outpatients and inpatients by assisting in the provision of specialist cardiac investigations including:

• Cardiac Angiography
• Left and right heart studies
• Pacemaker follow-up and implantation
• Exercise testing
• Holter tape/event monitoring
• Sesta Mibi
• Echocardiography and PCI when the dedicated catheterisation lab is established.

To apply, you will need:

• A minimum of two years’ experience.
• Relevant clinical cardiac physiology work experience.
• Experience in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and/or pacemaker implantation is desirable (training will however be provided as part of the development of the interventional service).
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Clinical Physiologists Registration Board (CPRB)
