Cardiac Intervention / Cardiac Pacing

• Monday to Friday - with an on-call component

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cardiology Service for a qualified Pacing Cardiac Physiologist with interventional cardiac experience to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the service

Dunedin Hospital is the Cardiology/Cardiac Surgery centre for Southern District Health Board. We are fortunate to be able to offer excellent training opportunities both locally and internationally, as well as maintaining close relations with the prestigious Otago University. The Cardiology Department itself is warm, welcoming and social.

About you

The successful candidate must have the following:

• Hold a post-graduate qualification of IBHRE/NASPE or similar, or be currently working towards IBHRE
• Have evidence of ongoing CME and self-directed learning
• Ideally hold at least four years' experience in Pacing and CathLab post registration
• Have excellent communication and organisation skills
