Boho Café is a cool wee cafe in Awapuni, known for our fresh fun food, but we can’t keep up!  We are looking for a someone, who LOVES to bake and wants to bring their creative flare to this role.  This is your chance to shine.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare a wide variety of goods such as pastries, pies, biscuits, breads, cakes, etc. following traditional and modern recipes.
• Create exciting items that catch the interest of our customers.
• Monitor stocks levels.
• Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.
• General kitchen hand duties, including dishes and clean-up

Skills:

• Experience in working in commercial kitchens, or training in cookery/baking.
• Great attention to detail and creativity.
• Work quickly while being well organised.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Knowledge of food safety preparation and baking techniques and nutrition.
• Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, vegan, etc.).
