What is the opportunity?
As a Business Systems Analyst in Global Credit Systems Solutions (GCSS), you will be working as the liaison between our business stakeholders and IT partners, responsible for business analysis activities on small to large size projects, including all aspects of requirements gathering and analysis.
What will you do?
- Facilitate collaborative sessions with diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review
- Develop plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates
- Analyze and document detailed business and system solution requirements
- Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to drive out business priorities
- Verify requirements for quality and validate requirements with the impacted stakeholders
- Support Business and IT program management team as required by ensuring business priorities are understood and IT teams are equipped with detailed information in order to develop and test solutions effectively and as per expectations
- Ensure that IT design and development solutions are strategic in order to provide maximum data integrity and flexibility going forward
- Ensure all IT development is properly tested; Reviewing UAT test cases completed by IT and execute some BAT test cases, and by providing requirements clarifications and root-cause analysis
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, and that all stakeholders receive timely and ongoing communication
- Build relationships with stakeholders to facilitate progress and work to resolve any roadblocks or issues interfering with the projected deliverables.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Business Analyst or Business System Analyst with a proven ability to articulate complex application requirements and functionality to business and IT stakeholders
- Undergraduate degree with a focus in Economics, Accounting, Finance or other quantitative fields
- Ability to collect, analyze, interpret and query data using excel and SQL
- Very strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a logical mind-set
- Excellent communication skills – clear and concise oral, written and presentation abilities
- Inherent sense of ownership and initiative
- Proven relationship-building skills to create, maintain and enhance relationships with internal and/or external partners
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in data mapping between systems for integration
- An understanding of corporate lending processes
