Administration Team Leader - 12 month fixed term

We're looking for a leader of our administration staff who can support the development of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
Our Business Support group are responsible for empowering the wider organisation through effective and high quality support services. You will be joining our group as a ‘front line' team leader, giving you an opportunity to have a significant impact in building our customer centric culture.
What will you be doing?
- Managing a team of approx. 5 to deliver excellent customer service - supporting their training and development, establishing and monitoring standards.
- Provide medium term leave cover for EA's, ensuring continuity of cover for Tier 3 managers
- Deliver reception services that meet agreed contracted service standards and TEC's values and behaviours including the management of effective client relationships with the Commerce Commission
- Provide management to the TEC regional offices and their facilities, in conjunction with the Senior Regional Coordinator
- Deliver outstanding EA support to one Tier 3 Manager
- Maintain positive relationships with key suppliers such as Orbit Travel and Office Max, with a focus on delivering value for TEC
What will you bring to the role?
- Experience in a wide ranging business support services function
- Extensive experience providing EA support to senior managers
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and the ability to share those skills as a subject matter expert
- Experience in leading and developing teams
- Good office system and process knowledge, with strong organising skills and the ability to prioritise work
- Excellent customer focus and a collegial and collaborative way of working
- Strong written and oral communication skills
