Summary
As part of the Service Transformation team, the Solution Architect (SARC) will play a key role in the Bell Business Market new products introduction (NPI) programs. These flagship strategic programs aim at delivering value-added and innovative connectivity services to the business customers.   This SARC will contribute to strategic goals and objectives alignment across initiatives by positioning and analyzing those within the organization’s integrated view: customer experience, products and services, partners / suppliers, organization, end-to-end value streams, capabilities, key business and IT initiatives and IT architecture. The SARC will work to develop an integrated view of the operational model, enterprise architecture and customer experience using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry standard techniques. The SARC will collaborate closely with Transformation and operational teams, Customer Custom Deals, User Experience, Product, Network, Marketing and IT teams.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide a clear architectural and operational vision and framework to the delivery team and ensure that vision is followed during the delivery of projects
• Work with the product management team by making sure the new product description (project charter) includes all the detailed requirements to ensure a proper solution delivery
• Produce the integrated conceptual solution, which includes all building blocks from different teams and making sure there is some cohesion between all elements
• Collaborate with colleagues of other domains to make sure that the program is taking into account the overall targeted operational guidelines and is leveraging development done on other programs
• Build, improve and communicate the end-to-end operational model that includes all steps toward the delivery of the defined targeted customers’ experience
• Build the roadmap and keep abreast of internal business capacities, budget, systems and deadlines

Critical Competencies

• Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information
• A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, capabilities, enabling technologies, governance and operational processes such as Business office, network provisioning, field services and billing
• Ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions, propose and improve operational models and business processes
• Exceptional learning capability in a complex and  dynamic environment  
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Strong leadership, situational analysis and decision-making abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Knowledge or experience developing/maintaining complex operational models
• Experience in analysis or strategic planning
