Global Partner Solutions (GPS) is looking for a talented Parter Investments & Incentives Strategist to join the Investments & Incentives team. You will play a critical role leading one or many of the following functions: Global Incentives Programs Execution Oversight and Execution, Go to Market strategy and execution, global and local campaigns from strategy to execution, and enable custom deal investments across our Partner portfolio. You will drive and manage the end-to-end process for global programs and campaign development with both Corp and local teams and ensure the execution of compliant implementation.

With the vision to “Build and sell intelligent cloud and intelligent edge solutions with partners, empowering people and organizations to achieve more,” Global Partner Solutions (GPS) is responsible for driving revenue outcomes with Microsoft’s Devices and Services partners through innovative solutions at scale.  Within GPS, IISTAR (Investments, Incentives, Strategy, Tools, Analytics and Reporting) drives revenue growth for Microsoft by leading the decisions and governance for the multi-billion portfolio of investments across GPS, while also working with sales segment leaders to create the 3 year strategy for the organization. In addition, IISTAR provides the governance and end-to-end ownership for systems, tools, analytics and compliance for GPS. 

Responsibilities

Deep engagement with key stakeholders across GPS, Finance, Ops, Ops Finance, Compliance, Business Groups, and others to ensure stakeholder groups’ needs are addressed

Be the IISTAR SME for assigned global programs, global, local campaigns and custom deals, working with all stakeholder teams.

In GTM and Analytics team, provide program oversight and compliant execution working closely with program design leads, business group, GPS stakeholders, solution area leads, operations and engineering. Provide oversight on all critical partner communications.

In the Investments team, oversight and management of the custom investments including key stakeholder engagement to ensure business value and execution feasibility, working with stakeholders including investment owners, program design leads, business group, GPS stakeholders, solution area leads, operations and engineering.

As part of the Develop, manage, and land a thorough communication plan across key stakeholder groups.

Coordinate the rhythm of the business related to assigned global programs, global campaign and governance

Develop & Execute strategies and tactics to drive awareness and adoption of incentive programs to internal and external stakeholders across multiple channels.

Articulate assigned global program and investments value proposition and Program Policy. Drive creation of key program assets, integrating with the broader GPS narrative, commercial licensing initiatives and solution area strategy.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

7+ years of relevant business experience within one of the following areas-Business Programs design, Operations, IT, Partner or Field Incentives, or other relevant business program management roles

7+ years of demonstrated Global Program Management, Capability or Project Management, driving Go-To-Market (GTM) activities to drive awareness, readiness, and adoption of programs, experience in complex multi-functional environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of partner and/or enterprise selling cycle and business models

Understanding of Microsoft cloud solution areas strategy, business and technical aspects.

Understanding of ISV and SI strategy, business and technical aspects.

Exceptional leadership in driving complex, broad, cross-functional engagements

Desire to shape and drive company channel strategy through execution

Tenacity and an unwavering drive toward action & results

Adept at getting things done, and performing amidst ambiguity and complexity

Keen ability to build effective relationships with Corporate teams, Field Sales, Operations, and Partners

Exemplary communication skills, written and oral, to a broad set of internal and external stakeholders

Well organized with strong skills in cross-team collaboration and project management

Demonstrated capability in creative problem solving of complex business issues through analytics, data driven insights, organizational skills and sound judgment
