The Azure Quality Infrastructure (AQI) team has a large, growing global team and we are looking for a skilled Business Manager to support the leadership team. The candidate will be a trusted partner and advisor, balancing leadership, and influence to lead and monitor delivery of new capabilities, aligned with business objectives and within forecasted resources.
The AQI team reports out of the Azure Edge + Platform Office of the CTO and focuses on delivering critical improvements to Azure's infrastructure services. These multi-year projects span the entirety of Azure and often Microsoft and require working directly with senior leadership to affect impactful changes in the way the organization thinks about and improves the quality of Azure’s infrastructure and services.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have cross group organizational skills, well developed analytical and problem-solving capabilities, agile communication skills and experience successfully leading complex strategies and projects to completion.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the operating structure and Rhythm of Business (ROB) including exec reviews, semester planning process, fiscal planning, staff meetings, etc. to help business run smoothly and effectively
Partnering with leadership team to develop and execute planning processes and alignment of strategic initiatives and OKRs
Developing and leading creation of high-impact team communications to land business priorities, including content and planning for All Hands, offsites, organization communications and business reviews; supports exec communications
Facilitating and supporting executive external customer engagements and executive sponsorships
Driving organizational health, organizational planning and culture initiatives working with multiple stakeholders
Leveraging knowledge of the leader's goals and approach to ensure team activities are aligned with the leader's objectives.
Participates in and provides perspective and a point of view to the leader on specific areas within or external to the organization, and regarding communications, budgets, people, and the team pulse.
Leading special projects to meet changing business environment
Qualifications
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
