Senior Business Development Manager

If you have a proven track record executing successful B2B sales strategies and hitting your targets out of the park, this might be your perfect next opportunity.

 

THE ROLE

You will play an integral role in contributing to the growth and market presence of TUS through the acquisition of high-value clients.

Your unwavering focus on superior client satisfaction and willingness to do whatever it takes, will ensure your success.

You will be required to:

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy targeting top-tier clients
  • Proactively seek out new tender opportunities and maintain consistently high prospecting levels in your pursuit
  • Manage and nurture existing relationships and identify growth opportunities
  • Actively engage with prospects across a range of social media channels
  • Liaise with a variety of internal stakeholders to ensure superior execution and client satisfaction
  • Embrace the CRM (HubSpot) to the extent of its capability to track sales, interpret data and detect patterns to enable continuous improvement
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager on the rollout of our ABM strategy and to identify client stories to celebrate across social channels
  • Consistently achieve agreed sales and growth targets, and activity levels.

 

This is an autonomous role where you will be required to prioritise your workload and feedback critical information to the National Sales Manager. 

It is a full time salaried position with all the tools you need; fully maintained company car (or car allowance), phone, laptop etc. In addition to your salary we reward your performance with an uncapped commission bonus system, paid monthly. 

 

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

You’re a seasoned and polished B2B sales professional with a successful track record executing B2B sales and marketing strategies wherein superior client satisfaction is king.

 

You possess the following skills and experience:

  • Proven record developing high grossing B2B sales initiatives
  • Experience preparing tenders for large contracts
  • Experience contributing to robust negotiations and commercial conversations
  • Confident and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly developed active listening skills with a natural ability to read a room and adapt behaviour accordingly
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and a dedication to keep data up to date
  • Proven ability to delight clients with your buyer-centric service standards
  • Proven experience using social media channels as part of your strategy
