Job Purpose: 

To grow market position by locating, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. To manage and lead the Business Development team to ensure that the BD staff are capable of working to the best of their ability.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:

• Identify market trends and growth opportunities by researching industry and related events, publications and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments
  
• Locate or propose potential new business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering and exploring opportunities
  
• Meet with potential new clients as well as potential referrers
  
• Manage referral and introducer agreements
  
• Prepare bespoke proposals for the clients to review and follow up with phone calls and/or meetings
  
• Manage client communications from initial enquiry to signed proposal
  
• Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating
  
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations
  
• Maintain a record of the activities for LLCs
  
• Enhance the organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  
• Solve problems, make decisions, and propose solutions to improve processes and procedures
  
• Attend on a regular basis, networking events and business meetings
  
• Meet the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and business performance targets, as agreed with senior management
  

• Participate in weekly regional Agile meeting
  
• Ensure CRM is kept up to date
  
• Prepare monthly Executive Summary and conduct meetings
  
• Participate in weekly regional BD meeting
  
• Manage the BD team, provide support and guidance to delegates
  
• Ensure that the department is aligned with ISO 9001:201
  
• Manager all BD tracked documents, ensuring that they follow the document control policy
  
• Work with HR to ensure that any BD training requirements are met
  
• Oversee referral trackers
  
• Complete ad hoc special projects as and when required
  
• Promote the Group brand image and values through own appearance and behavior so that it reflects the high standard of the company
  

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Degree level qualification in related subject preferably
  
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in UAE
  
• IT competency (MS Office)
  
• Proficient in English language, written and verbal
  
• Valid driving license preferably
