Job Description
We’re looking for someone who networks, makes connections, builds relationships, and pursues opportunities.
You will lead our efforts within the Auckland catchment to generate revenue with new and existing referrers to grow the business and help the company expand.
The ideal candidate will be focused, have strong communication skills, and have the ability to think strategically.
In this role, we're counting on you to:
- Identify, target and develop new referrer opportunities within catchment, in line with the businesses strategic and operational plans, in consultation with the National Manager, New Zealand
- Maintain existing referrers and develop strong relationships by professional account management
- Understand the allocated Branch catchment and schedule weekly face to face meetings with repairers.
- Inform and educate referrers on Right2Drive initiatives, procedures and points of difference
- Provide professional and excellent customer service to all existing and potential clients to cultivate strong relationships
- Log detailed repairer activity, visits, last referrer date and relevant commentary to ensure accurate reporting and review of business
- Develop and utilise sales strategies in consultation with the National Manager, New Zealand
- Manage new clients and ensure seamless handover to Operations Coordinators
- Handle referrer feedback/complaints and implement problem solving strategies to resolve referrer concerns to ensure customer satisfaction
- Co-ordinate details of new referrer activity, points of contact, specific needs and current branch fleet activity with Operations and National Manager, New Zealand
- Prepare and report on competitor activity, referrer opportunities and barriers to the National Manager, New Zealand
What you'll need:
- Sales/ business development experience with demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding new business sales targets
- Experience in motor vehicle hire industry desirable (but not essential)
- Excellent interpersonal and partnership building skills and attributes
- Well-developed verbal communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve goals. Able to work autonomously
- Great attitude to be a positive influencer for the Right2drive business.
- Demonstrable time management and organisational skills
