Role :

The role is primarily to conduct business development and break in establishment for 5G in Thailand via CSP, as well as build a credible target plan for new Networks and Telecom business in CU Thailand. Key responsibility lies with identifying and securing short, medium, and long-term solutions, and profitable business and engagement, as well as building and maintaining long-term, trusted relationships and maximizing all opportunities for sales in the target Account and new business areas. A key aspect is to be actively defining, leading and driving Digital Thailand initiatives and Ericsson’s contribution to this.

The role requires a fundamental understanding of the telecom customer and its business, operations and key objectives. Accountable for Sales and Ericsson business financials, including local cost per customer(s) including both cost of sales and operating expenditure. Additionally responsible for consolidated customer contribution, cash-flow and working capital as key business metrics. Accountable for customer relations including customer satisfaction and loyalty and for developing the business relationship and actively contributing to customer success and end to end driving of the sales and delivery process including cash collection. Accountable for the development of the solution portfolio, technology engagement, use case strategy development and completing this to successful outcome.

The role is a direct report to the Business Development Key Account Manager, and forms part of the CU Thailand extended leadership team.

Overall responsibilities

  • Develop tangible new business revenue in Thailand and establish to new business via Operators and selected target customers
  • Working with the Key Account team and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders for all areas of business.
  • Building all new business opportunities, through proactive business development and management of Ericsson resources based on fundamental understanding of the customers’ business, operations and objectives, and application of technology, portfolio to business use cases, needs and requirements.
  • Establishing short and long-term Account Plan and funnel for business – both with CSPs and broader markets in Thailand
  • Apply sound business judgment and professional conduct, role modelling of all ethical and legal requirements, e.g., sales process adherence, compliance and code of business ethics
  • Accountable for developing the business relation and actively contributing to making customers successful, including customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Leading cross functional teams to strategies, develop solutions and bring them to customer. Carrying out marketing and solutions programs, supporting the develop of Ericsson’s brand on the market
  • Holding business reviews to assess opportunities for target customers as well as ensure that every opportunity is taken to increase order intake and sales with the objective of maximizing long term profit and growth in this sector.

Education

  • At Master’s degree in marketing and Business Administration or relevant experience in related field.

Experiences!:

  • 12+ Years experiences in telecommunications industry
  • Successful record with significant achievement in sales and operations especially break-in and delivery in mobile networks, Cloud & related areas
  • At least 7-10 years’ experience of relationship sales
  • At least 7-10 years of experience from ICT industry
  • Minimum 5 years in leading positions
  • Telco Solutions, Solution Sales, and Use case development
